American Express Blue Cash, designed for those with excellent or good credit, lets cardholders take advantage of the Savings Accelerator Plan, where they earn a cash rebate on all eligible purchases. Rebates are put into a savings account that is high-yield and FDIC-insured, in the cardholder's name. The first year is free of fees, and the card offers a reasonable APR for a reward card. It comes with benefits and services found with American Express credit cards, like travel accident insurance, auto rental insurance, and a purchase protection plan.
