The Delta SkyMiles Gold Credit Card, issued by American Express, is made for anyone who frequently flies on Delta Airlines. Cardholders earn two miles for each dollar spent at participating retailers and one mile for each dollar spent on general purchases. The annual fee is waived for the first year, and if cardholders also have an American Express Charge Card, the fee after the first year is reduced. The Delta SkyMiles Credit Card has an above average APR for purchases for an airline reward card and is not made for anyone who intends to carry a revolving balance.
