Discover Student Classic Card is made for those who are looking for a cash reward credit program but have a limited or average credit history. It is ideal for college students who may not have established any credit in their name yet. Cardholders of this Discover student card earn cash rebates on purchases everywhere, although purchases made participating stores result in a higher cashback rate. There is also a small rebate with warehouse clubs and discount stores, with no limit on the rebate amounts a person can earn per year. Though the APR is a bit above average, there is no annual fee and there is a 0% introductory APR that applies to every purchase for six months.
