IMPACT Visa, issued by Four Oaks Bank & Trust Company, uses advance payments to fund future purchases. Designed for anyone who may have difficulty getting a standard unsecured credit card, the stored value card requires a bank account to be opened when applying online, or a security deposit to be mailed in. Money can be put on the card automatically from the cardholder's bank account each pay period, or the card can be loaded with another credit card by mail or by depositing cash at select banks, for a fee. The IMPACT Visa does not require a credit check, security deposit, or employment requirement, but you must have a verifiable U.S. address. This card has no annual fee, no interest applied to the account, and no other charges found with unsecured credit cards, but it does have a couple of fees in the first year.
