Issued by Chase Bank, cardholders receive one mile for every dollar spent on purchases, and miles can be put toward flights on United Airlines and its partners. There is a small annual fee, but cardholders also earn a large amount of bonus miles after their first purchase as well as a free 1,000-mile, one-way, one-class upgrade certificate.
